- A new publication detailing local and organic food initiatives in universities across the UK is now available from the food and farming department.
Course Notes: Getting equipped to bring organic and local food into universities and colleges includes the Soil Association’s food sourcing work with the University of the West of England and Edinburgh University.
The booklet is aimed at students, caterers and staff in universities and colleges who are interested in introducing local and organic local food into their establishments. It features case studies of existing work, gives hints and tips to consider if implementing your own initiative, as well as pointers to get you started.
