Technical information
The Soil Association food and farming department is a membership-based team within the Soil Association charity. We are dedicated to helping farmers, growers, primary processors and the wider organic sector – including vets, advisors and consultants.
We provide technical advice and information, as well as representing our members’ interests in all major agricultural, environmental and food industry forums.
We actively develop local and national markets across the UK via a range of market support activities and are committed to creating a thriving local food culture in which local, organic food is available to all.
Membership is available to anyone with an interest or involvement in the organic sector.
Farmers and growers who certify with Soil Association Certification Ltd will automatically receive our full range of membership benefits for free.
