Bridgend Allotment is the UK’s first exclusively organic allotment. It is located in an old field in the historic Craigmillar Castle Park in the south of Edinburgh, on a site that was previously Bridgend Farm. As well as providing a home to 54 organic gardeners, Bridgend is home to the Bridgend Community Allotment Health Project, which, through the practical work involved in creating a garden, encourages people into physical activity, healthy eating, getting outdoors and mixing with others.

Ready, Steady, GROW!
